Our Family Portrait

After 300 tries, that's right, THREE HUNDRED, we finally got our family portrait. The boys were a little disagreeable. In fact, Caleb did not want to look at the camera, smile, laugh, talk, do anything until after we were finished. BUT, we got the shot and live to fight another day. I hope all had a wonderful and blessed Christmas!

Smelling The Flowers

OK, you got me. It's just a weed, but Isaiah thought it was the most beautiful flower in our yard. He is fun loving and sweet, but his brother gets on his nerves a little bit.

Old Mr. Blue Eyes

Caleb was playing in our driveway. His eyes were being lit by the sun and it made them the bluest I have ever seen. He is so fun to play with.

My Preppy Boy

Posing For The Camera

Caleb had to take some pictures where his baby cousin Rachel was taking pictures. He is starting to like the concept of the camera. Just not when he is supposed to like the idea.

Catchin' Bubbles

Isaiah loves bubbles. We had a lot of fun that day.

Rachel's First Christmas

Rachel is ready for her first Christmas. She has her dress and she has her stocking. Now all she has to do is wait.

"Leaf" Me Alone

This is this year. Caleb was having fun jumping in the leaves. He is always so serious. Even when he is playing, he is serious about playing. The camera just gets in the way.

All Tucked In

Isaiah has to have all of his lovies for bedtime. Larry-Boy, Daddy Bear, and Lion in the corner. He laughs hysterically when I call them the wrong name. He likes to correct Daddy. Sweet Dreams, Sweet Boy.

Amanda - My Private Model

Amanda has become my private model. She lets me practice often, but she really doesn't like getting her picture taken.

Caleb's Rain Delay

We played outside today, between the rain clouds, and had a great time. We raced and jumped over alligators (they were really just sticks). We went fishing for piranhas and went on a bug hunt. Fighting alligators, piranhas, and bugs are all in a day's work for Daddy and his two boys.

Isaiah's Rain Delay

Between the rain storms, we went outside today. We had a great time. In addition to alligator jumping, bug hunting and piranha fishing, Isaiah had a blast playing "fort" behind the swing.

Leaf Jumping

This is actually a picture from a while back, but it popped up on my screen saver and I remembered how much fun Caleb had jumping in leaf piles. It was a lot of work raking those leaves, but also a lot of fun watching him destroy the work.

Lollipops & Wagons

We took Isaiah outside to let him enjoy his lollipop. That sucker was almost the size of his head, but he did his best to eat the whole thing. He is so full of fun and joy.

Waiting For The Heels

We were all waiting for the Carolina football game to start, so we went outside to play. I don't really know what they were watching, but I thought it was a neat picture. Anyway, if you learn nothing else from this picture it should be this: Raise 'em early, Raise 'em right, Raise 'em to say GO HEELS!

This Is For The Birds

On our recent trip to the Columbia Zoo, Caleb and Isaiah enjoyed feeding the Lorikeets. Those were the craziest little birds. They attacked us as soon as we went through the gate, but my boys loved them. We had to feed them twice.

Bath Time

Caleb was getting out of the bath tub the other night. Of course he was running around getting water all over the place, but he was having so much fun I had to take some pictures.

Shady

My little star's future is so bright that he has to wear shades. He really thought he was the coolest little kid with those shades.

You First

Amanda said this picture looked as if Isaiah was telling (or pushing) Caleb into the water. They really had a great time at Ocean Isle Beach.

Picking Flowers

Caleb was picking "flowers" for Mommy at Luther Britt Park.

Choo Choo

Isaiah was having fun playing with some trains. He tends to drive them in reverse.

Beach Bums

This was taken at Ocean Isle Beach. The boys were having lots of fun, but it was extremely windy. Caleb was watching the wind blow the sand.

Introducing Rachel

These are a few pictures of our new niece. She was an angel while Uncle Wade took some pictures.

Bikers Beware

Put away your valuables, lock up your daughters, there's a new biker in town and he is one tough hombre. Who needs a Harley Davidson when you could ride a Fisher-Price Tricycle?

Parking Lot Rules

Isaiah and I had fun in a parking lot while we were waiting for Mommy and Caleb. While a parking lot might not be the best place to take pictures, he was enjoying doing animal sounds so much I had to take some pictures.

Daddy Bear

This is Caleb's Daddy Bear. It actually says, "I love Mommy," but this is Daddy Bear number 2. The original did say, "I love Daddy." I don't know what we will tell him when he can read.

A Little Fun With A Blue Boat

It's a colorful world (if you live on the blue boat).

Discovery

Caleb loves bugs! He found a line of ants marching up a tree and was awestruck.

Reflections

Isaiah playing with his reflection at Ocean Isle Beach, NC.

Lady In Red

Amanda was being my model for the afternoon.

Caleb's Eyes

Caleb was extremely tired after a long day at the pool, but still enjoyed a red popsicle. He looks so deep in thought.

Tree Hugger

Isaiah was playing peek-a-boo with me behind this tree at Grandma M's house.

My Bride

This is my wife, Amanda. She willingly posed for some shots after working in the house all day. Isn't she beautiful?

Waiting For A Bite

My son, Caleb, waiting for a bite at Luther Britt Park. He will be waiting a while (there is no hook on the other end of the string).

Gone Fishing

My son, Isaiah, fishing at Luther Britt Park. It's amazing what joy a stick and string will give a two year old.

Wade & Amanda

This was our engagement photo taken at Ocean Isle Beach.
